कल्पना - एक प्रेम कथा
कहानी
कुछ छात्र-छात्राएं बस स्टैंड पर खड़े थे । आपस मे गप्पे लडा रहे थे। सागर एक तरफ सबसे अलग चुपचाप खड़ा था। कुछ दोस्त आपस मे बातें कर रहे थे ।मैं तो एक नम्बर से रह गया यार , दूसरा बोला यार मैने तो परीक्षा की तैयारी बहुत लगन और मेहनत से की थी तभी तो हम दोनों आज साथ है दोनों हँसने लगते है।
9:20 पर बस आने का समय हो गया था। सभी अपनी दायीं ओर देखने लगे । मुझे लगता है की आज बस देरी से है। एक औरत ने कहा। सभी ने उस औरत की तरफ आश्चर्य भरी नजरों देसे देखा। जैसे ये उस बस की चालक हो। कुछ समय के अंतराल के बाद बस आ गयी। सभी जल्दी-जल्दी चढ़ने को उतावले थे। तभी एक दिव्यांग लड़की बस में चढ़ते वक्त गिर पड़ी । भीड़ बहुत थी फिर भी लोगों ने उसे संभाला। कहीं चोट तो नही आई बेटी ! एक बुज़र्ग ने सवाल दागा। उसने ना में हामी भर दी। सभी लोग बस में सफलता पूर्वक चढ़ गये। अगले स्टैंड पर सागर को सीट मिल गई ।
सागर खिड़की की तरफ मुँह करके बैठा था। साथ ही उसके एक लड़की बैठ गयी। वो लड़की सागर को देखे जा रही थी। साथ ही रुमाल से पसीना पोंछ रही थी । क्या आपको गर्मी लग रही है? सागर ने उस लड़की से पूछा। हाँ ,उस लड़की ने जबाब दिया। सागर ने कहा ,आप इस सीट पर आ जाईये यहाँ आपको हवा मिलेगी खूब खिड़की की तरफ। उन्होंने अपनी सीट बदल ली । लड़की थोड़ी सी मुस्कुराई सागर की तरफ से भी हल्की सी मुस्कान फूटी। क्या नाम है आपका ? लड़की ने पूछा । सागर ,और आपका? सागर ने पूछा। जी कल्पना । जबाब दिया। जी बहुत अच्छा नाम है, कल्पना। कहाँ तक जाओगी । लड़की बोली देवगढ़ तक। फ़िलहाल कहाँ से आ रही हो ? फ़िलहाल तो मैं मामा के घर से आ रही हूँ। दोनों ने खूब सारी बातें की। दोनों में दोस्ती भी अच्छी हो गई थी। कल्पना का बस स्टॉप आ चुका था। कल्पना ने जाते-जाते सागर को बाये-बाये भी किया। सागर ने भी हाथ हिलाया।
अचानक सागर का ध्यान सीट पर पड़ा. जिस सीट पर कल्पना बैठी थी । उस सीट पर एक रुमाल पड़ा था। जिस पर लिखा था "कल्पना"। जिस खूबसूरती से खुदा ने कल्पना को बनाया था। उतनी ही खूबसूरती से कल्पना ने अपने नाम को सवारा। सागर ने रुमाल को उठाया और होठों से लगाया। आई लव यू कल्पना। सागर ने सांस अंदर खिंचते हुए कहा।
सभी अपनी-अपनी घड़ियों की तरफ ताके जा रहे थे कि समय होने वाला है। बस पहले ही देरी से है ये और देरी करवाएगी । 10 बजने ही वाले थे । बस पहुंच चुकी थी। सभी छात्र-छात्रायें विद्यालय की तरफ अपने कदम जल्दी-जल्दी बढ़ाने लगे। सागर का आज पहला ही दिन था, पहला कदम, पहला मिलाप , पहला परिचय, नए दोस्त थे।
सागर वहाँ पर अपने पुराने दोस्तो से मिला। कुछ छात्र अभी भी प्रवेश के लिए आवेदन कर रहे थे। कुछ अपनी एडमिशन फ़ीस जमा करवाने आये थे। पहला दिन बहुत बहतरीन गुजरा। अध्यापक बहुत हँसमुख थे।
सागर को बार-बार कल्पना का चेहरा नज़र आ रहा था। सुबह का कुछ खाया-पिया भी नही था। माँ ने कहा था कुछ खा लो बेटा। पर सागर ने लेट होने का बहाना बनाया। किसी होटल पर आकर चाय- नाश्ता किया। वापिस आकर बस में बैठ गया। कल्पना के बारे मे सोचता रहा। मुझे वह अच्छे घराने की लगती है। बातों से तो वह बहुत बड़े घर की प्रतीत हो रही थी। उसका बाप कोई सरकारी नौकरी लगा होगा। गाड़ी होगा , बांग्ला होगा , नोकर चाकर होंगे , जमीं जायदाद होगी। और तेरे पास तो कुछ भी नहीं है। तेरे घर तो दो वक्त की रोटी के भी लाले है। क्या करेगा उसे घर में ला के ! कहाँ राजा भोज कहाँ गंगू तेली। सागर गहरी सोच में था। उसे पता भी नहीं चला की कब उसकी बस चली और कब स्टेण्ड आ गया।
सुबह का समय था। सागर अपने स्कूल पहुंचा तब वो लड़की कल्पना वहां खड़ी थी। उसे पहचानने में जरा सी भी देरी नहीं हुई। सागर को कल्पना ने देख लिया था। सागर ने पूछा, आप। कल्पना मुस्कुराई और बोली मैं यहाँ प्रवेश लेने आयी हूँ । पर तुम यहां कैसे ? मैंने भी यही एडमिशन लिया है। सागर ने मुस्क़ुरते हुए कहा। छात्रों की चहल-पहल में उन्होंने ढेर सारी बातें की। सॉरी मुझे चलना चाहिए। मेरी क्लास का टाइम हो गया है। मिलते है नेक्स्ट टाइम। ओके। .कल्पना ने कहा। सागर अपनी क्लास की और बढ़ रहा था। उसे यूँ महसूस हो रहा था की कल्पना पीछे से आवाज लगा रही हो। सागर ने चलते-चलते पीछे देखा वो सागर को निहार रही थी। जैसे वो उसके लिए ही बना हो। सागर सोच रहा था की जी चाहता है उसके गले लिप्ट जाऊं। पर दुनिया की मर्यादा उसे ये आदेश नहीं देती। वो पक्का मुझे मुहोब्ब्त करती है। सागर मन ही मन मुस्कुराया।
उसने भी कक्षा ११ में प्रवेश लिया था। मैं पहले से मौजूद था। अब हम दोनों क्लास मेट थे। इस तरह सागर व् कल्पना और ज्यादा नजदीक आ गए।
अभी भोजनावकाश(आधी छुट्टी) हुआ ही था। सभी छात्र ईधर-उधर आ जा रहे थे। कल्पना पार्क मे बैठी थी। साथ में दो सहेलिया भी थी उसकी। कल्पना ने सागर को आवाज दी। सागर कल्पना को ही देख रहा था। उसने हाथ के इशारे से सागर को अपने पास बुलाया। वो चारों आयताकार स्थिति में बैठ गए। सागर अब तुम मुझे अच्छे लगने लगे हो। पता नहीं क्यों, अब मुझे यूँ लगता है जैसे मैं तुम्हारे बिना अधूरी हूँ। मुझे अकेलापन सा महसूस होता है। न रात को नींद आती है न दिन को चेन आता है। आजकल तो भूख भी नहीं लगती है। माँ कहती है कुछ खाया पिया कर कमजोर हो जाएगी। कल्पना की नजरें निचे थी धरती पर जैसे वो धरती को चीर देगी। वो डर रही थी। घबरा रही थी। उसने दोनों सहेलियों के हाथ पकड़ रखे थे। आई लव यु सागर। सागर को बिना मांगे मोती मिल गए थे। पर सागर को इस रिश्ते से बिलकुल भी नराजगी नहीं थी। उसने ठंडी साँस अंदर खींची। प्यार से कल्पना का हाथ पकडा। आई लव यु टू। सागर ने कल्पना को गले लगा लिया था। दोनों सहेलियां एक दूसरी को निहारती रही।
सागर और कल्पना के किस्से पुरे विधालय में जोर शोर से चर्चा में थे। परन्तु अध्यापकों को भनक तक न थी।
एक दिन सागर पार्क में बैठा था अकेला, निर्बल , लचार। कल्पना ने आकर पूछा क्या बात है आज इतने उदास क्यों हो। क्या मैंने कुछ कहा?क्या मेरी सहेलियों ने कुछ कहा?क्या किसी ने कुछ कहा? बस यूँ ही सागर ने झुकी नजर से ही उत्तर दिया। आंसू बस पलकों पर ही थे सागर ने जादूगर की तरह छुपा लिए ?वो नहीं चाहता था की कल्पना परेशान हो दुखी हो। इस कारण सागर ने कल्पना से है हंस कर बात की। कल्पना ने कहा ,मैं तुमसे कुछ कहना चाहती हूँ। आई लव यु और वो सागर के गले लिप्ट गयी जैसे उसे सागर के दुखों का आभास हो गया हो।
कल्पना बिना बताये कई दिन छुटियों पर चल रही थी। सागर को भी इसकी जानकारी नहीं थी की कल्पना किस कारण विधालय नहीं आ रही है। सागर के दोस्त उसे चिढ़ाते " बबुआ का बात है भौजी स्कूल ना आवत। प्रेग्नेटवा है का"। परन्तु सागर के पास इन व्यंग का कोई जबाब न था। बस वो गुस्से था तो कल्पना से।
कुछ दिनों बाद कल्पना विधालय में आयी। सागर ने ak ५६ की तरह सवाल पे सवाल दागा। कहाँ थी इतने दिन? क्यों नहीं आयी? क्या कारण थे? बताया तक नहीं। किसी से बात भी नहीं की। क्यों? वो कुछ न बोली ,खड़ी रही ,सुनती रही ,और बहाती रही। आंसुओ की धारा। हर सवाल के साथ आंसुओं की धारा और तेज हो जाती। परन्तु कल्पना टस से मस न हुई। न ही किसी सवाल का जबाब दिया।
कुछ दिनों के बाद वो फिर से गायब हो गयी। मैंने सपना से पूछा की आज कल कल्पना क्यों नहीं आ रही है? सपना ने कहा ,हमें नहीं मालूम। तुम्हे सब मालूम है सागर जोर से चिलाया। जैसे वो मिलाकर सागर से कोई खेल , खेल रहे हों। सागर के दुखों का अंदाजा नहीं लगाया जा सकता था। वो अंदर ही अंदर घुट रहा था। पसीज रहा था। बढ़ रहा था एक भयंकर बीमारी की तरफ।
कुछ दिनों बाद सागर के नाम से विधालय में एक तार आया। जो एक उपहार के साथ था।
प्रिय सागर,
अब मैं तालाब में तैरती मछली की तरह हो गयी हूँ। जिसे जब चाहे बाहर निकाल लो जब चाहे पानी में फेंक दो। अब मेरा अपना कुछ भी नहीं है। मैं एक अबला नारी की तरह हूँ। जो अपने दुःख तो सभी के रोती है। परन्तु सहायता कोई भी नहीं करता। मैंने हमारे प्यार के बारे में माँ को बता दिया था। माँ ने पिता को। मेरे शरीर पर पड़े निल मैं शब्दों में व्यान नहीं कर सकती। माँ ने कहा ये हमारी विरादरी में नाक कटा के रहेगी। जल्दी से इसका मुँह काला कर दो। पर मेरे मुँह से तुम्हारा नाम जाता ही नहीं था। पल-पल तुम्हे पुकार रही थी। रिवाज की इन खोखली दीवारों से मेरी आवाज बाहर न जा सकी। मुझे कमरे में कैद कर दिया। मुझे कई दिन खाना नहीं दिया गया। पानी के नाम पर मैंने आंसू पिए। फिर भी ऐसा कोई वक्त नहीं था जिस वक्त मैंने तुम्हारा नाम न लिया हो। उठते-बैठते, सोते-जागते मैंने सिर्फ और सिर्फ तुम्हे चाहा है। माँ का दिल पसीजा खाने को रोटी दी पर मैं ना खाती। अब तो बस भूख भी नहीं लगती थी। इस नरक से मरना ही बेहतर था। माँ मेरी मुझे गले लगाकर रोती। मान जा बेटी, तेरे बाबू जी बड़े जिद्दी है। रिश्ते को हाँ कर दे। कितने ही रिश्ते आये और कितने ही ठुकराए मैंने। शादी करूंगी तो सागर से। पापा रो पड़े, पगड़ी रख दी मेरे पैरों में। बेटी, तूं जन्मते ही क्यों न मर गयी ? मेरा दिल पसीज गया। पापा के गले लगकर जोर-जोर से रोने लगी। शायद इसी कारन लोग बेटी जन्म ने से डरते है। सागर ,जब एक बेटी पैदा होती है तो उसके साथ इज़्जत , शर्म ,मर्यादा , दहेज ,जिम्मेदारीयों का भी जन्म होता है। अब मेरा रिश्ता तय हो गया है आने वाली १०जुलाई को मेरे हाथ पिले हो जायेंगे।
मुझसे झूठे प्यार की आस मत करना।
मिल जाये कल्पना अगर तो विश्वाश मत करना।
तुम्हारी हाथों की लकीरों से जुदा नहीं हूँ मैं
हो सके तो सागर मेरी "तलाश" मत करना।
तुम्हारी कल्पना
सागर की आँखों में आंसू थे। आँसुओं की कुछ बुँदे खत को तार तार कर रही थी। वेदना से उसका गला भर आया। ह्रदय में दर्द उठा , गले को चीरती हुई खांसी मुँह के बल बाहर निकली। पत्र पर ख़ून की कुछ बुँदे।
ईश्वर ने भी कैसा खेल रचा। दोनों एक ही दिन विदा हुए। १० जुलाई का दिन था। एक तरफ डॉली उठ रही थी। दूसरी तरफ जनाज़ा।
